Join the Weald of Kent Lodge and listen to the well-known Hastings author and historian, Victoria Seymour, who has written a series of books, such as "Letters from Lavender Cottage" and "Court in the Act", concerning life in World War Two Hastings. In this talk, Victoria will focus on the topic of crime and policing in Hastings in the 1940's, "Court in the Act". Victoria's expertise in this field led her to become an on-set advisor in the making in 2002 of "Foyle's War", the television detective drama. A hot buffet precedes Victoria's talk.

Edward, who is Chairman of Sevenoaks Sports Council, has raised vast sums of money for charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Mencap and Scope.
