The Official Vist Good Intent on Thursday 8th April 2009

Accompanying Rita Wetherilt at the Official Visit was "Emma".  Enter your guess as to the date of her Birthday and place a pound in her carrier bag. The winner gets to keep Emma.

All the proceeds of this guess with be split between the Local Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Threshers Day Nursery at Orpington.

During the Lodge meeting a envelope was presented to Sis Rita Wetherilt from the Lodge to her Charities, later following the raffle a further £10.40 was added to the total.

It was a lovely evening with several visitors attending. The District Officers gave talks on correcting the boundaries with Unity for attracting new members, a poem about a trip to the area, amusing stories from children and the meaning of Maundy Thursday

We would like to all thank the Lodge Members and Visitors for attending and for putting on a fine spread of home made, pastries, trifle, cheesecake and Sandwiches
