Race Night At the Good Intent 26 September 2009

A lovely warm and sunny September day what could round it off better than a night at the races. Approximately 50 were in attendance including visitors from Lord Holmesdale and the Flower of Kent. There were six races helped by a pleasing number of young members, who threw the dice and moved the horses.

In the interval for food there was a musical quiz with prizes for the winners. There was also a general quiz with prizes. There was an extensive raffle which seemed to go on for ages plus opportunities to guess the number a sweets in the jar and guess the name of the toy gorilla, won by Ivy for the name Guy, this one was a little smaller that the one which used to be a London Zoo.

At the end of the night profits were shared between Demelza House

and our provincial Grand Masters' Charities
