Provisional Grand Master of St Marys Cray and Dartford
In her year of being the Provisional Grand Master Sister Vera James Charity Theodora Clowns was presented with a cheque for £6066.06. The money was raised by sales of books and videos, her daughter Janet Townshend did the London Marathon. Surpluses from events and raffles.
Doctor Mattie excepting the cheque thanked everyone and said there are 14 more clowns in training. The clowns go into hospitals and entertain the children who are patients there. Children get better quicker when they have the laughter in there lives provided by the clowns.
